NEW YORK – CitySights NY and Gray Line New York have introduced two new double-decker hop on/hop off tours through New York City: CitySights NY Brooklyn Tour/Loop and the Gray Line New York Bronx Tour/Loop.
The companies hope to attract some of the estimated 55 million New York City tourists in 2013 to experience two boroughs often overlooked by tourists.
CitySights NY Brooklyn Tour/Loop showcases the area’s history and modern attractions, such as the Brooklyn Museum, which contains over 1.7 million works of art. Passengers can also see the newly opened Barclay’s Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets and music concerts.
Buses stop at a legendary team’s home on the Gray Line New York’s Bronx Tour/Loop. The Bronx route features Yankee Stadium, home of one of the city’s signature baseball teams, and the Malcom Shabazz Market. This culturally rich market showcases African crafts and textiles among its offerings. Visitors can also experience culinary favorites, such as Lenox Lounge, Sylvia’s and Red Rooster.
