Tennessee launches winter website

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The King of Rock plays an important role in the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development’s new winter focused website, winter.tnvacation.com. This year’s theme, “Winter with Elvis: Lights, Camera, Action” uses the figure of Elvis Presley as an online guide of what Tennessee has to offer this holiday season.

In partnership with Elvis Presley Enterprises Inc., and Peabody Memphis, the tourism department has also unveiled the “Winter with Elvis” contest where contestants can fill out a form until Feb. 6 for a chance to win. The prize includes a stay at the Peabody Memphis hotel, a VIP tour of Graceland and tours of Sun Studio, Stax Museum of American Soul Music and the Memphis Rock ’N’ Soul Museum.

Some of the Tennessee winter destinations highlighted on the site include festive light shows, celebrations and attractions related to music like the Grand Ole Opry.
