LOGAN, Ohio – The Hocking Hills region of southeastern Ohio welcomed newly opened Valley Zip Lines, as well as a new zipline for kids from existing operator Hocking Hills Canopy Tours. With the new additions, Hocking Hills boasts more than 50 individual ziplines in the region.
Valley Zip Lines opened July 6 with the longest ziplines in Ohio. The course features 11 ziplines, three of which are more than 1,000 feet long. Visitors zip more than 80 feet in the air across a natural valley and two-acre lake.
The new operator also offers dual racing ziplines, a 48-foot rappel tower and a giant swing reaching 48 feet in the air.
Hocking Hills Canopy Tour, the Midwest’s first canopy tour, will soon open the Dragonfly, a zipline adventure for kids. Scheduled to arrive in late July, the zipline lets kids of ages 5 through 12 enjoy a canopy tour.
