Mayflower Tours releases new 2013 itineraries

Denali National Park

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. – On August 23, Mayflower Tours released the 2013 North America Deluxe Escorted Holidays and the 2013 River Cruising and World Holidays brochures. Among the 43 trips offered, the tour operator released four new itineraries in North America and three new river cruises.

Mayflower Tours’ new North American itineraries include Alaska Grand Tour, New Orleans and Cajun Country, California Coastal Holiday, and High Sierras and Gold Country.

The Alaska Grand Tour views the state’s wild side with a cruise of the Chena River, a Tundra Wilderness Tour of Denali National Park and a lunch cruise through the Kenai Fjords National Park. On the New Orleans itinerary, groups will experience New Orleans’s French Quarter, plantation tours, a narrated swamp tour and Cajun music and dancing.

Passengers travel down the coast while seeing popular attractions, such as the Redwoods State Park, Monterey Aquarium and the San Diego Zoo on the California Coastal Holiday. Another Western tour, the new High Sierras and Gold Country, takes visitors from Reno to Sacramento through former mining towns, Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park.

Mayflowers Tours’ three new river cruises include Russia’s Imperial Waterways River Cruise, River Cruising through the Wine Country of France and Splendor of the Seine River Cruise. The brochure also promotes three new World Holidays itineraries: Iceland – Land of Fire and Ice, Best of Ireland and Scotland, and Historic Poland and Prague.
