PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Kristen Goodnow has joined the Providence Warwick Convention and Visitors Bureau as its new national sales manager. Previously, Goodnow worked at Marriott International as senior convention sales manager, representing five convention hotels in the Northeast. Additionally, Jessica Caparco has been promoted to director of marketing for the CVB from her previous position of marketing manager since 2004. Her new role will allow her to produce the CVB’s visitor guide and supervise special events.
ARLINGTON, Texas – The Arlington Convention and Visitors Bureau announced David Law as the new director of national accounts for the bureau. Before this appointment, Law worked as a senior sales manager for the Hyatt Regency Dallas where he handled Texas corporate accounts and various other associations.
GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Recently hired Jenny Racey-McConnell will help promote group travel as the Gettysburg CVB’s new director of sales. She will work with group travel leaders and tour operators to bring visitors to Gettysburg and Adams County, Pa. with a special emphasis on the 150th anniversary of Gettysburg in 2013. Prior to her position at the CVB, Racey-McConnell worked at the York County Convention and Visitors Bureau in York, Pa., for three years.
