About Us

The Group Travel Leader Inc. is a Lexington, Kentucky-based publishing company that currently owns and publishes three national travel industry publications. Founded by publisher Mac Lacy and his partner, Charlie Presley, The Group Travel Leader Inc was created to identify specific niches in the travel industry and deliver key readerships in those niches to prospective advertisers.

Conferences and marketplaces for these travel industry niches are managed by Presley in Salem, Ohio, through the offices of the Group Travel Family. These meetings serve to complete the marketing loop for these influential readers by bringing buyers and sellers of travel face to face annually for education, entertainment, sponsorship opportunities and sales sessions.

The Group Travel Leader is regarded as the industry's most trusted voice since 1990. Our flagship magazine is published 10 times per year and mailed to 13,000 tour operators and travel planners representing tens of thousands of active travel groups. Its accompanying e-newsletter, The Group Travel Minute, links to our full digital edition and is sent twice monthly to an additional 12,500 qualified readers. Through all channels, The Group Travel Leader’s digital impressions currently total more than 780,000 annually.

Select Traveler

Select Traveler is America’s magazine for global affinity travel, is published quarterly and mailed to more than 4,000 global affinity travel leaders and tour operators who package trips for them. Its e-newsletter, Select Traveler Minute, links to our full digital edition and is sent monthly to an additional 6,000 qualified readers.  Through all channels, Select Traveler’s digital impressions total more than 576,000 annually. Formerly Bank Travel Management, Select Traveler serves as the official magazine of the Select Traveler Conference.

Going On Faith

Since 1997, Going On Faith is the industry’s only magazine devoted to faith-based travel across North America, the Holy Land, Europe and beyond.  It is mailed in print to more than 6,000 faith-based travel planners and tour operators who are leaders in this international market.  Its e-newsletter, Faith Travel Minute, links to our full digital edition and is sent monthly to an additional 2,500 qualified readers.  Through all channels, Going On Faith’s digital impressions total more than 568,000 annually. Going on Faith serves as the official magazine of the Going On Faith Conference.
